The RS-3001 Electric Air Make Up unit is a combination electric heater and waterborne paint drying system. The system operates by pulling air from the booth through the blower and the heater delivering the heated air back into the booth via gable mounted air nozzles. The RS-3001 has four easily selected user: Pre-Heat, Spray, Heat Flash-Off, Bake.

For use with iDEAL Side Down Draft, Semi Down Draft, and Cross Flow Paint Spray Booths.

The RS-3001-EHS-30KW Electric AMU Heating System by CPI/Rammstein Air is a high-performance solution tailored for paint booth heating applications. Designed with a vertical or side discharge configuration and finished with a durable white powder coat, this heating system ensures both versatility and longevity. It features a 30KW heating element powered by a 208VAC or 230VAC 3-phase connection, capable of achieving a temperature rise of approximately 30°F in just 10 minutes and 50°F in 50 minutes. The integrated ETL-listed control panel simplifies operation with real-time system messages, cycle time, and elapsed time displays, while interlock status indicator lights enhance safety monitoring during use.

Engineered for compatibility with cross flow, side down, and semi down draft paint booths, the RS-3001-EHS-30KW offers easy installation with its single-point connection and 30-foot umbilical cord. A 2HP blower motor ensures efficient airflow, while the truly variable airflow feature allows precise adjustments for optimal performance. With its exhaust VFD pre-fused and wired, hour meter for usage tracking, and fluid control interface, this system is designed for both reliability and user convenience. Weighing just 560 lbs., the RS-3001-EHS-30KW provides a compact yet powerful heating solution to meet the demands of industrial paint booth environments.

iDEAL RS-3001-EHS-30KW-1PH Electric Paint Booth Heating System

The RS-3001 Electric Air Make Up unit is a combination electric heater and waterborne paint drying system. The system operates by pulling air from the booth through the blower and the heater delivering the heated air back into the booth via gable mounted air nozzles. The RS-3001 has four easily selected user: Pre-Heat, Spray, Heat Flash-Off, Bake.

The RS-3001 electric paint booth heater is less expensive to install and operate than our RS-1001 gas fired paint booth heater. A typical 30KW electric paint booth heater costs on average $2.00 per cycle (using $0.12 / KWH) which is significantly less than a similar gas fired paint booth heater while providing 45F - 50F degree temperature increase in approximately 50 minutes. This increase allows the booth to reach the desired flash off temperature for waterborne finishes and to reach a temperature high enough to bake the finish coat.
